i bought a topaz signature t-l460-hsb. I installed the SigPlus Basic program.
I plugged in the device and it said it installed properly in windows 7 64bit.
WHen i try to sign anything it shows up on the topaz screen but not in open dental. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

I always recommend installing the most recent topaz drivers by installing sigplusbasic from the topaz website http://www.topazsystems.com/Software/do ... basic.htm.
After clicking the topaz button within OD the signature boxes should reflect the signature as you are signing it. If it's still not working, I'd like you to test the pad outside of Open Dental by going to C:\Windows\SigPlus\ and running the DemoOCX.exe application. This is a demo app that topaz wrote and if it doesn't work there then they should be able to help you in getting it installed correctly. If it works in their demo app and not in OD, let us know what version you are currently on.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

got it to work! thank you. Had no idea I had to click the little pencil icon on the upper right box to get it to go! LOL pretty dumb of me.
