Referred Procedure Tracking

Post by atd » Tue Jul 31, 2012 12:30 pm

Is there a way to track multiple procedures on one referral? For example, all wisdom teeth referred to an oral surgeon. It looks like I have to add a separate referrals for each extraction. Am I missing something?

create one referral per procedure, they can both be attached to the same referral slip, but each referred procedure has a distinct connection to the referral.

Creating referrals is already such a long process, having to create a separate referral for every procedure would take too much time. If I instructed staff to do this they would surely protest. I guess this is my request to improve this new feature. Electronic records should speed up processes for staff, not take longer than the paper process did.

I have to agree too...

Had a medical assistance patient that I referred for 24 extractions to the OS..creating 24 referrals is a burden..let alone 4 different ones for wisdom teeth referrals....
