set up block schedule

Post by dkennel » Mon Jul 09, 2012 7:30 am

We currently use practiceworks for scheduling, we setup color coded blocks in the schedule for the front desk staff to know when to schedule which type of procedures, i.e. sedation blocks, new patient blocks, under age 3 patient blocks, hygiene, etc...
I am very new to open dental and wonder how other people set up appointment blocks or if it is even possible in OD?

I figured out how to setup the blocks, in the graphics I just get an outline frame for the block, can you alter that to where it has a fill color in the block instead of just the border?

Yes. Setup, Modules, Appointments. Third option down is to use solid blockouts.
