Prod an Income reports

Post by babysilvertooth » Mon Jul 02, 2012 7:48 am

Hi all, I am trying to understand the way reports work.
I am looking at annual reports for the first half of the year. I pull up a this year report which reports for all providers. When I single out a provider, my hygienst and associate pull correctly, but when i pull myself, my pt income and total income colums are in the negative.

when payments are entered, it is not tracked by provider, just by practice. I pay the associate on net production, not collections (hence the reason of not tracking on collections). Yet, for my associate and hygienist the income is in the postive.

What are we doing wrong?

The only thing I can think of is that when we swtiched from ES to OD in 2011, there were lots of splits that would show up, and when we enter a payment with a 'split' these old negative and positve adjustments are showing up. Does that sound correct?
My guess is once those are cleared up as time goes by, it should be more accurate.

I hope I am reading this correctly.

Thanks

I'm really not sure. That might be right. We would need to look closely at your situation, and it might not be easy to figure it out.
