Installment Plans

Post by drtech » Sun Jul 01, 2012 12:04 pm

Got my plugin adjusted to the changes in the account with installment plans, but wondering if there are enhancements to actually keep track if the pt made a payment or not? Currently it just always shows amt due as the installment plan amt no matter if the pt made any payments the last month or not? Just trying to understand if it really should just say i.e. "Due:$100/mo" rather than "Due:$100" if the installment plan is $100/month. I think that is how I am going to make it work with my plugin.

It doesn't yet keep track of whether the patient paid. We decided that that could always be added later. To do it right would require significant complexity, and we weren't interested in doing it wrong.

Right, that's what it looked like.

I think it should display Due: $100/mo in the upper box instead of Due: 100 (or whatever the amount is of course) to make it clearer...

Can someone explain the new installment plan feature? I couldn't find anything in the user manual.

Thanks
