[SOLVED] denture repair - asking for tooth number

Post by Joseph » Fri Mar 23, 2012 7:49 pm

I'm trying to complete/enter procedure, denture repair billing; but it is asking me for a tooth number?
How to enter procedure without a tooth number?

Joseph,

It is related to how you have the procedure set up under Lists | Procedure Codes.

Go to the particular code you are using for the denture repair and look at the section that says "Treatment Areas". If you have "tooth" highlighted, it is always going to ask you for a tooth number which might be appropriate if you were using a code for replacing a tooth in a denture. If you are repairing the base acrylic, you might use "Arch" as the area and it will ask you if it is upper or lower arch. If you don't want it to ask you anything as far as an area, select "Mouth"
