Unexpected Behavior in Date Field

Post by jclaydds » Sun Feb 26, 2012 4:26 pm

Using Version 12.0.17

Double Click on a procedure in chart to edit procedure. I understand that first field (date entry) is non-editable for security. There are two other dates that are editable: Date TP and Date.

Expected behavior in a date field in Open Dental is to be able to click on that field and then use the + or - key to change the date forward or backward one day at a time. When I click on the first editable date field with my mouse, this behavior occurs as expected and I can advance the date in either direction using the + or - keys.

I then click on the second editable date field and instead of the same thing happening, the date does not change but a + or - signs is simply put into the date field.

In other words, it works on the first field but then not on the second field. Bug??? Incidentally, this has been the behavior for several versions but just got around to mentioning it.
