Clearinghouse for Medical e-claims

Post by peterskuben » Thu Dec 29, 2011 8:54 pm

I was just wondering which Clearinghouse I should pick from the list to submit medical e-claims?

We have used Emdeon for about 4 years without a single problem.

Others can chime in with their experiences, or you could search the forum.

You are talking about medical and not dental, right? If so, we have been testing with Emdeon medical division for a while. We're at the point where we're looking for a beta tester. Are you interested? We would need to know if you want to send medical or institutional claims, and whether the claims are par or non-par. Par stands for participating; the payer participates in the clearinghouse process by paying a small fee to the clearinghouse per claim. Par includes most commercial payers. Non-par means Medicaid. Medicaid doesn't participate; they don't pay the clearinghouse per claim.
