Size of the monitor for OD viewing of schedule
Size of the monitor for OD viewing of schedule
I am going to buy a new computer and was wondering if the size of the monitor matters to the viewing of OD schedules. Does a larger monitor, say 23", distort it? Thanks
Re: Size of the monitor for OD viewing of schedule
No, but make sure you have a decent video card to drive the larger monitor, or you won't get decent resolution

Re: Size of the monitor for OD viewing of schedule
For my front desk I think 24" widescreen is the best size with high res. 22" widescreen at 1080p is too small to comfortably read.... (experience here as I have both and what my staff says) You must turn down the res if you go smaller but then the quality of the pictures is severely degraded running a flat screen monitor at a non-native resolution... 19" 4x3 format is also a great size at 1080x1024 res.

Right.
We have some 23" LGs (LED monitors) @ 1920 x 1080 which is really comfortable to read. Video card is an ATI Radeon HD 5700 series.
