Security Settings

Post by genebrabston » Wed Nov 16, 2011 1:59 pm

Our office has been an OD user for over a year. We have not restricted any user settings in Setup>Security. We are paperless. Suggestions on which settings to check or particularly uncheck?

Thanks,

Gene

Well, start by giving everyone a different username and password. Then, of course, only you should have admin priv. You can then gradually tighten down other areas. You might start with a global lock about 2 months in the past. Then, other financials. Not too tight, or everyone will get frustrated. But eventually, you probably want to get to the point where financials are locked if they are more than a week or two old.
