Additional column for Treatment Finder

Post by drtmz » Thu Sep 01, 2011 12:01 am

I am looking for a report similar to treatment finder that also includes the patient's current insurance plan.
Could that column be added to the present treatment finder report? That would work nicely.
I need patient name, date of last visit, unfinished tx plan and insurance coverage.
Any body know of such a report?
Thanks

Sure. Add it as a feature request.

Are you familiar with the Query Examples page on the Open Dental Website? You may be looking for Query # 280 "List of Patients that have not been since a specific date that have insurance benefits remaining. Includes Insurance Carrier's Name, Patient's Name, Three Phone Numbers, Benefits Remaining, TP Remaining and Last seen date - Assumes everyone has calendar year benefits"

If you are not familiar go to http://70.90.133.65:1942/ODQueryList/QueryList.aspx

Under the 3rd paragraph there is a drop down menu "Return queries about" change from No Category Limit to Treatment Plan to narrow the report results. Each numbered listing is a report that can be run in Open Dental. Got to #280 Right click in the white scroll box and hit Select All. Right click again and Copy. Go back in to Open Dental the Software and go to Reports, then UserQuery and paste into the White box. Hit Submit query. If it the query requires a Date entry like #280 you will want to look for the FromDate and/or ToDate and replace with your date range, then submit the query. Its not as nice looking at the built in reports but you can save these to your favorites and pull them up anytime to print or export to excel or text document.
