How can I delete a patient. Sometimes there are duplicates without any data attached, just Name and phone #? Thanks.

As long as there are no procedures or notes attached to the patient, there is a button in the family module to delete. Sometimes you have to delete any procedures or notes attached first; but once the patient is empty the button works pretty well.

same question, but I had an insurance attached to the patient and dropped that plan, but it still says to delete ins plan before being able to delete patient. How do I delete the insurance plan. I guess it has something to do with it saying "group: not in use" when going to enter a new insurance. Thanks

It's easier to just archive the patient and be done with it. But if you really must delete it:
Assign the insurance to the patient.
Delete any ins plan adjustments at the upper right.
Change the subscriber to someone else, ok.
Drop the ins.
Delete the patient.
