Electronic Health Records

How much is this EHR initiative going to affect us? I have heard some say its only for medical offices others say noo it is going to catch everyone.

Who will it affect? Only those who bill medical? Only those who bill government programs such as medicare or medicaid? Everyone?

Dentistry has been lucky to have dodged the governmental involvement bug. Is this the beginning of the end?

It sure would be nice if all this waited until after I retire.

It won't affect dentistry very much. Just clinics that see a lot of Medicaid patients.
