We just went digital and purchased Kodak image. Our team seems to be having a difficult time getting the image with open contacts and clear. Is there a better and easier software out there?
I would appreciate any feed back.
Best image software
Re: Best image software
It is probably not the software that is the problem. Even if it is the problem, there's no guarantee your new imaging software would support your sensors, not to mention the expense.
Getting open contacts: just gotta keep trying. It's like when you were in dental school, perfect X-rays were hard to come by.
Unclear images: You either need a new monitor (one with high contrast ratio, matte screen) or play with the Kvp.
I'd suggest you speak with the Kodak people, get someone to come out and provide in-office training. They can certainly look at your setup and make hardware recommendations as well. A decent monitor runs about $250 (multiply by however many you need) so that's nothing compared to the cost of new software.
