extend maximum appointment length

is there a way to extend the maximum appointment date? When we have something going on, like an assitant out for the day, I like to make an appt for a pt named "misc" and put a note on the appt, and set it to extend all day. Currently its limited to 6.5 hours, I need 7 hours. not a big deal at all, just wondering if that was adjustable.

We just use blockouts for the day. They can be any length.

The main reason for the limit is because when you open the appointment to edit, the slider would go past the bottom. So it's a user interface issue rather than any special hard limit. No, we don't currently let you make it longer. If it's a true appointment that needs to be longer, we figure you could give the poor patient a break in the middle and put it in as two separate appointments.
