I use it a lot.
It is certainly a very very helpful adjunct.
What we use it mostly is intra-office messaging, pt communication, and appt reminders.
We do not extensively use it its reporting features.

OD does do many of the things YAPI does, but YAPI does those things better.
Messaging between ops is much much much easier. Ready for exam, help me with perio charting, patient arrived, etc are one-click messages that go the appropriate workstations. Custom colors and sounds make it easier to pay attention to.

Text messaging pts is much easier as well - although to be fair, we didn't install OD's text messaging plug in.

recall can be automated - but we use both...OD for lists and postcards, YAPI for texts and emails.

what else do you want to know?

Oh... that. OK. I thought he was referring to some internal (OD) module that already existed (not a 3rd party thing).

Thanks.
