Ten minute appointment bug

Post by Pruce Dental » Wed Jun 08, 2011 5:40 pm

When scheduling an appointment for a 10 minute only slot... for example a quick surgery post-op visit ...if you try to move the 10 minute appointment on the schedule... for example you accidently scheduled it for 9:40 instead of 9:30am ...when you try to move the appointment to 9:30 I am getting an error.

We can't duplicate it. We need to know what version you're on, and we might need a copy of your database if we still can't duplicate it.

It occurred in version 7.9.9 originally (or at least I first noticed it there)

it says "parameter is not valid"

Here are the details...if you need my database just let me know. I tried to recreate it now in version 7.9.10 and I had to move the appointment around about 5 times before the error occurred.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Not enough info to duplicate. If you think you can make it happen while you have us on the phone, then call us. We probably will need a copy of your database.

Ill forward on my database to support for the 10 minute bug, I used the compiled version but am on support now so have upgraded to the latest foreign release today. I also had much more worryingly a patient dissappear in front of my eyes whos chart is gone yesterday. They are not listed under archived or desceased or inactive patients. Hopefully get to the bottom of it. Thanks for all help in advance.

All "deleted" patients are still in the database with a status of "deleted" just in case. Don't worry. It's impossible to truly delete a patient.
