How to Send SMS text Messages to one, some, or all of your patients!
1- You need to sign up for Google Voice. It is FREE
2- You need to get the cell phone numbers of your patients form Open Dental and save it into a " text" form file:
* click on Reports, User Query,
* copy and paste this query in the upper left blank query box:
SELECT WirelessPhone FROM patient WHERE LENGTH(WirelessPhone)>3 AND PatStatus=0
* click the "Submit Query" button
* click "Export" on the lower right.
(remenber the name of the file where you saved the cell phone numbers)
3-Download this Google Voice application: Google Voice Auto Responder "GVar"
(it is FREE to try, or you can buy it for $25 )
