Confirmations with post cards

Post by khdilger » Sat Feb 26, 2011 5:28 am

Who uses the confirmations with recall cards and whats your protocol for doing so? I finally have started having my staff switch to printed recall post cards and that works great. The printing of confirmation post cards seems a little more difficult of a process to keep track of because I do not see where open dental is keeping track of which confirmation post cards have been printed. Am I doing something wrong in printing the confirmation post cards?

Thanks,
Kenny

With the cost of postage what it is, why are you printing confirmation cards, rather than e-mailing, texting, or calling the patient? The patient still has to call you back to confirm, so you are still taking up staff time on the phone. What is the advantage of the postcard?
