Sheet Security

Post by atd » Wed Feb 23, 2011 10:47 am

Version 7.6.21
I added date limitations on editing sheets, but they don't seem to be working correctly. I have it set to 3 days, but a lab slip created today cannot be edited. The messages states it's locked with a date of 12/31/10 - which is the global date I set at year end.

When the lab slip is created, the date at the top right of the window that pops up is filled in with current system date and time based off of the computer. Is your computer date and time correct?
(I've seen system clocks get reset or even CMOS batteries on mother boards go out which is why I ask)
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

If the local computer date and time is correct, not 3/3/2010 for instance, then you might want to restart the MySQL service (or restart your server whichever you prefer) which will refresh the internal clock of MySQL to match up with the system time. When you create the new lab slip double check the date in the top right to make sure it is correct before hitting OK.

We can't duplicate it. We would need a copy of the database as well as specific instructions including the exact patient and lab slip.
