contact lists for email marketing and reminders

Post by binhoang » Sat Feb 12, 2011 8:00 am

i'm looking into joining Constant Contact for email marketing and reminders.
Easily import your permission-based file: Excel (.xls), comma separated value (.csv), or text (.txt)

can you show me a way i can get this from open dental?
do you guys use constant contact or any other company? any suggestions?
Thanks

It looks like MyPatientScheduler offers what you are looking for:

Also, if you pick some other company, our "HouseCalls" bridge can help automate the process of creating the export file.

funny, I just posted on this. We use Constant Contact, albeit sort of infrequently and ineffectively right now. We use it for newsletters and surveys. It's pretty cheap.

Someone at Constant Contact walked my receptionist through the process of exporting preferred name and email address to their site as a list. Then you simply create the survey or letter and send it to everyone on the list. The only downside is that you pretty much have to recreate a new list for every newsletter as the email addresses are updated on a regular basis (hopefully).
