extra-oral photos?

Post by babysilvertooth » Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:19 pm

I have Dexis as my xray software...what are people doing for extra-oral photos, do you keep it in the OD chart or in your xray imaging software? What is an 'good' size for those photos so that they are reasonable to view for talking points but not so large that it hogs hard drive space....
Do I make sense?

I mostly keep intra & extra-oral photos in the patients' Dexis folders. I like to have the photos and radiographs available together, so I can easily switch between them. It also makes it easier to show a patient a radiograph and a corresponding photo of the same tooth/area.
Dexis bridges nicely with OD, and it is so easy to alt-tab between them.
