There was a time when Google would list Open Dental at the top of the search for "dental management software." OD is now relegated to the second page (page 4 if searching for "dental practice software"), which is quite appalling to me considering how OD has changed the way we run our office day to day. What can we do to get OD back up top? I'm suggesting that we place an icon "Powered by Open Dental" in our websites to improve cross-linking and thereby moving OD up. What do you think? Can the OD team make such an icon for us? Thanks.

Yeah, it's too bad. I had hoped that when we won out top spot that we'd stay there. Any link to opendental.com is appreciated. Back when we used to advertise online, I did notice that the ads not purchased through google bumped up our google rating. So one option would be for us to spend some money on marketting. But I would honestly rather put money into making the program better. It's the only open source dental software in existence. It isn't going anywhere. Growth is inevitable, and with growth will come more links. With more links will come a higher google rating.
