Picasa integrated to manage images

I have found that Picasa is one of the best to manage images with tags etc, easy to view different images with single highlighted point in few strokes. ???Can we integrate Picasa with opendental to manage images in this software....

I'm bumping this thread from the dead to see if this is possible to bridge Open Dental and Picasa somehow. We manage all of our photos with this software and it is great. However, it is getting a bit overloaded with patients and images now.

Is there some way to have Open Dental point to a patient folder in Picasa?

How does Picasa work in a networked environment? I know that adobe lightroom does organization and tagging but it can't run over the network and is only designed to run on a single system.

I have it running on two computers right now and they both are pointing to the same drive on the network for the images. Seems to work ok for us. Plus, I like the editing tools for cropping/altering orthodontic images.

I don't think it is intended to work on a network, but we have managed to get it to work so far.

Does tagging on computer 1 propagate to computer 2?
