Quick Buttons

Post by savvy » Thu Jun 03, 2010 11:20 pm

I'm sure this will be answered by, "Make Feature Request," but........
Is there a reason that the options B(uccal)/F(acial), L(ingual/P(alatal) and I(ncisal) have been left out of the Quick Button selections?

Make Feature Request

No, I'm just kidding. The reason it looks like that is because an outside programmer added those buttons. I would call those buttons a kludge. In other words, we would not have done it that way, and we probably shouldn't have allowed it. Because of issues like that, we do not allow outside programmers to add features anymore. Some day, when we have time, we will overhaul it to be customizable. But for now, we are leaving it in place because we have a policy of not removing features. It's feature request #149.

my thoughts when adding those buttons were to reduce clicking for multiple surface fillings...but I agree it would be better to have everything...should upgrade that....Either I will make a plugin sometime or just wait for Jordan to do it for me. :)
