Electronic Benfits Error

Post by drtech » Wed May 05, 2010 7:59 am

Anyone able to use the electronic benefit request in the family file? It still just gives me a "SOAP" exception.

I'm going to guess your ClaimConnect account is not properly configured yet for real-time transactions. Can you post the SOAP error here?

I doesn't give me anything besides

"Clearinghouse server sent this error:
SoapException: "

I believe I have setup real time or purchased this with claim connect, anything I need to do specificly to set it up?

And you're not in debug mode? I would suggest calling them and making sure you really are set up for real-time.

I think I remember getting that error when I was trying to set it up. I think I remember this happening because I wasn't using claimconnect for electronic claims. I was using a different clearinghouse and I was getting the soap error. When I switched to claimconnect for e-claims it started working. I have since stopped using the service because it was very inconsistent and almost always impossible to figure out what the actual benefits were. Good luck and let me know if you get it working. I'd love to be able to properly and quickly estimate insurances, but it's just not practical in our office at this time.
