Single Click for touch screens

Post by peterskuben » Thu Apr 01, 2010 9:39 am

In Windows 7 one can choose whether to use single click or double click to open an item. (It's in Folder Options) For touch screens single click is ideal. However OD does not conform to single click, or at least I can't find anywhere an option to enable single click operation in OD. This would be ideal for chairside progress notes. Right now every entry can only be entered using double click which is frustrating on touch screens.

Single click the Progress Notes and have Procedure Info screen pop up and then Single Click to enter Auto Notes.

Is there a way to enable Single Click in OD?

I'm a huge fan of single click. I'm not sure why we never implemented it more in OD. I think it's because it would tend to make everyone use their Ctrl key even more than they already do.

Sounds like a good feature request to submit.
