Billing

Post by Toothdr97 » Thu Apr 01, 2010 6:02 am

Has anyone changed the default for billing to have a date due instead of on receipt? I am doing some A/R research and they say to put a due date. The only problem would be if we print a statement in the middle of the month the due date would be inaccurate. Just want to put it our there and see if there are any opinions.
Thanks

You aren't doing daily billing? It would increase your cashflow.

I as well would like the opting to put an automated due date on bills. This way I could have it set up to make the due date 30 days from the date that the statement is printed. Is there an option for this that I am missing???

Under Setup->Modules under the Account section there's the following field:
'Days to calculate due date. Usually 10 or 15. Leave blank to show "Due on Receipt".

Hey, that's perfect. You would think that after having this software fro 2.5 years that I would have figured that out. I'll keep on learning something new every day. Thanks!!!!
