What does a bridge do? (ScanX/Visix/OD)

Post by hjoesaar » Thu Dec 17, 2009 12:34 pm

Hi All,
I finally got the ScanX in my office (yesterday). It uses Visix/Tigersoft imaging software. The ScanX/Imaging software system works by itself. Now, how does OD intergrate with it? - what does the OD bridge actually do? For instance, I can find a patient in OD, hit the Tigersoft button and then Visix opens with that patient. Then I can accuire the images in Visix. When the images are mounted in Visix, can I view them from OD? Can I use the mounts a the bottom of the chart module in OD? Will I always run two programs? I just don't know how this all should work.. help!

All that the bridge does is to open Visix with the selected patient. So it sounds like it's working perfectly. The image will never show up in OD. You will always run two programs.
