Link to Your Pamphlets Tweak

Post by Rickliftig » Mon Jul 27, 2009 5:41 pm

I added a link to my server accessible from the chart page. The folder is for pamphlets. I have taken all of the most important pamphlets (ie. hygiene, dry mouth, implants, etc), scanned them, and saved them in this location. When I need one, I just print it on the color printer. This tweak can be used for any folder, so conceivably you could have a folder for animations/demonstrations. Anyone have any other ideas?

I set it up in the "Setup-Program links" menu like so...

If you're really feeling gung ho, you could use a wiki of some sort. Your pamplets would be better organized and more likely to be used if they were part of a wiki rather than just files in a folder.

I like that idea - they do get unwieldy. Any suggestions on open-source wiki software?

Peter - that looks REALLY promising! Anyone following this thread should check it out - tremendous potential here.
