bug with Claims

I have a problem when we do a claim. The problem happens when we click on "new claim" then click on "By Procedure", and then click cancel. I know we are not suppose to click "by procedure" until the check (payment) comes back, but the front desk sometimes click on it accidentally. What happens after is that the claim is cancelled, but Open Dental thinks we already sent the claim. We do not see the claim in claim modules, and when we click on "new claim" again, Open Dental thinks there are no new procedures to claim. What can we do?

I would run a Database Maint. go to Tools | Database Maint. then you can try it again. If it still won't let you create a claim you need to double click on each procedure and delete the estimate. Then you should be able to create a new claim.
