Sheets

Post by fishdrzig » Sat Jan 24, 2009 5:15 am

Regarding the Sheets part of the program.
1. Is it possible to have Sheets run a liitle more like Word? e.g. centering, insert merge fields, fill ins etc....
2. How do you know where the center of the page is? I may want to center parts of the letter.

Thanks

on a similar note, how hard would it be to get a function like firefox text box that has for auto spell check underlining. That would really help. Is there a way to use a firefox dll or something out there like it?

The insert merge fields is present in version 6.4. Centering and alignment are some tools that are planned for the future. I knew when we decided to go with our own "word processor" rather than pursue tight integration with an external word processor, that there would be a lot of requests like this. But I'm still happy with the results so far. I still think the possible benefits outweigh the lack of functionality compared to Word. I'm very excited about the future feature of being able to drop patient images into letters. That's just something that I don't see as a possibility in Word.

I suspect that the planned wiki will be used for things like that.
