Dragging from the Pinboard

All of my staff in the trial version are having an issue with an appointment not releasing when dragged off the pinboard onto an appointment time. When this happens, what should we do? Thanks

Not releasing? I think maybe they are accidentally pressing the other mouse button as they drag. Recent versions prevent this user action.

The appointments that are stacked in the pinboards seem to be the problem. The first will be dropped fine it's the next one that won't release properly.

I've experienced this problem also - it's hard to duplicate but it has happened on more than one occasion. After dragging to the schedule it seemed to be hovering on the schedule but not really in a specific appointment slot (a little off to the side). And the planned appointment was still sitting on the pinboard. The only way I could get it back to normal was to close Open Dental and reopen it.

As Jordan says, I believe the problem has been fixed in more recent versions. It doesn't happen in my office anymore. What version of OD are you using?

works fine here on v6.1.9

I'll consider it fixed then. I'm on version 6.1.8 but it was a couple of weeks ago the last time I had the problem, and I've probably upgraded since then.
