Insurance check to patient

Is it possible to set up an individual account (not across the board) so as to have the insurance check go to the patient not to my office?

That's very easy. It's in the Ins Plan window, upper right, assignment of benefits.

Has anyone had an issue with NOT having the pt sign for assignment of benefits and the payment still comes to your office? The (few) claims that I sent off for patient reimbursement were not processed correctly until I cleared the info under 'Billing Entity' on the claim form. Could the "assignment of benefits" checkbox also be programmed to automatically leave the Billing Dentist info blank on the claim form?
