Usee Queries

Post by klinlv » Sat Jul 28, 2007 1:25 pm

Where can I learn more about writing user queries? Is there a book for "Dummies" or a good class to take?

Yes, there are lots of books. The book I use most is called the MySQL Cookbook. It's meant for programmers, but you still might find it very useful if you ignore the programming part. I like the Cookbook, because each "chapter" is about 5 pages long and addresses one specific practical need. Kind of like a recipe. I don't want to learn about each of the ingredients. Just show me the recipe and let me adapt it slightly.
