Rx printing question

Post by murmsk » Fri Oct 10, 2008 12:45 pm

I am trying to setup a printer dedicated to printing scripts. My problem is in paper size.

I setup the printer and changed the default paper size to 4.25x5.5. When I try and print a script the paper size reverts back to 8.5x11. If I manually change the paper size everytime I print .... everything is fine. The printer is also set for this paper size

Also I have this printer set as the defauly script printer in OD but the windows default printer comes up?

My questions are... Does OD have 8.5x11 set as the default paper size? Can this be changed? Or am I doing something wrong?

thanks steve

What size did you make your "sheet" object? I'm aware of the bug that ignores your chosen printer. The paper size might possibly be related.

the included sheet size for Rx's is 424x550. Should that be changed?

The printer selection is not a bug. Controlled substances print to a different printer than regular Rx's. You have to set printers for both kinds. Please check this and see if you still think that part of it is misbehaving.
