Tooth # with notation

Post by jonesrdh » Thu Sep 25, 2008 4:37 am

Is there a way to add a procedure category that would require the tooth # to show in the Th column? I'd like to be able to make a note about a tooth and later scan through the Th column looking for the tooth # instead of trying to read all prior notes. Sometimes there may be information that is needed to be documented but treatment is not done. For instance during a pro/exam we may add

#3 has a distal chip but it is clean and only needs tx if pt wants to. For a new pt it isn't so bad to put it in the notation screen under the tooth chart but if we see someone for several years there may be a lot of notes in that box and I find it to be to messy.

Yes. Just make sure that the procedurecode you are using has the treatment area set to tooth.
