? about the labels

I have read a lot of posts and comments regarding labels and being able to print them off. I have a dumb question, What do you all use them for? The only time we would need a set of labels would be for statements and for recalls, both of which are already printed for you. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but some help please!!!

We use labels for mass mailings; newsletters, announcement, whitening specials, etc
At first I thought it was a hassle not being able to print them directly forn OD, but now we have a system and its easy with excel.

actually, I think you can do it directly from OD now since a few versions ago, someone added a laser label feature...check that out drforlano (I haven't tried it)

You can print labels for your panos and even for patient folders. Now that you can customize them you can use them for practically anything.
