bug reporting 'protocol'

Post by sparkly » Wed Aug 20, 2008 4:25 pm

in the cobwebs of my brain, i thought i remembered that there will be a reporting feature for us to track/look up bugs and timelines for fixes. has this been done and is it just the web list of bugs by Jordan? rather than random posts and emails embedded in the forums, is there a planned 'interface' that maybe will work/look like the new Features Request in 5.9.2? (and i'm guilty of not searching for this topic before i post...too many [good] changes coming at me!!)...i guess what i'm describing is a ticketing system for trouble tickets...

We do have all bugs in a database. The bugs page is generated automatically from the database. We decided that it was best for now to have only our staff enter the bugs to keep out the clutter. As for a ticketing system, that's a totally different topic. We are constantly improving our internal ticketing system to follow up on phone calls. But that's not public in any way.
