Claims Not Sent Report WORKS GREAT!!!

Post by savvy » Tue Aug 19, 2008 4:51 pm

I just ran "Claims Not Sent" report based on a date range from 11-19-2007 (chose that date randomly) to today 8-19-08.
4 Secondary claims appeared.......all were for services previously paid by primary ins at 100%.

Then I printed my statements.
22 patients had (unsent) after the procedure description!!!!!!!!!!!!

How is this possible?
Why do they not appear on the report?

The claims in question are pretty recent ( july and august).

What gives?

Well, what gives is that Idon't read fully to the bottom of the Reports Menu.
Stupid me.

CHEERS!!!!!!

Those would be unsent procedures, not unsent claims.

Many reports have options for sinlge date and date range.
Personally I always want 'All' dates.

We have to manually 'scroll' back about a yr. to try to keep any patient from 'slipping thru the cracks'
Is there a reason we don't have an option for "All"

If it's to keep search time down can we at least have a 1yr or last 6 months option.
Thanks.

Ha ha. I was wondering if you would bother to edit the topic title.

I'm sure there must have been a reason for making it a date range, although I can't remember what it was.
