putting tooth on observe

Post by drtbar » Tue Jul 29, 2008 5:23 am

I thought for sure that this issue had been addressed previously either in the manual or the discussion forum but was not able to find it. How do you mark a tooth on observe in the charting module?

Put a note in the big white box under the tooth chart.

Check this post for placing observe (watch) areas on graphic chart.

I put "Watch" as a restorative material like composite, just a lighter color but in the same color family as composite. Then I know in my dx notes and my charting its not a restoration but its a defective spot to watch. Works well with D-Carie. It tends to catch caries occlusal or interproximal very early. I know t recheck area for a change.
