Paint Types

Post by drforlano » Thu Jun 18, 2009 11:32 pm

I created a new procedure and code; "Multiple Implant Placement".
I selected the treatment area as "Tooth Range" and I assigned it a paint type,... namely the exisiting paint type "implant"
However, it doesn't show up in the chart graphic.
How can I correct this?
Thank you

That's not a tooth range graphic. Area should be tooth. Just like when you do a bridge, you enter the single prosthesis as 3 separate procedures.

Bummer! Can I add tooth range graphics?

Let's say you are placing crowns on #6,7,8,9,10,11.
I use codes for Multiple Crowns, Multiple Extractions, Multiple Implants, etc....so I can save time with my entries,...
one entry instead of SIX!... but my graphics are paying the price.

Any solution?

You really don't need codes for multiples of the same thing. Just select all the tooth numbers that will have an implant and choose the implant code. If what you mean is if you can select a few numbers and have OD place the graphics for implant, abutment, and crown in one click, then you need to setup a procedure button that includes the codes for all three. You don't need to define a new code, just group them into a procedure button.
