Activating Tx. Plans

Post by asanders » Fri Apr 11, 2008 1:40 pm

I will sometimes present multiple treatment plans to patients. Once they choose a treatment plant, is there a way to activate it so that everyone knows which one we're using? For instance, I might present immediate dentures v. conventional dentures. If I could choose one or the other, it would be nice. I was thinking maybe store the unused treatment plan, but delete the unused procedures from the chart. That way, I could always reference the other proposed treatment plans if needed, but for purposes of appointing and calling patients with treatment not completed, it wouldn't mess us up.

My staff has on occasion called a patient about uncompleted treatment, only to find out that the procedures they're calling about are part of an alternate treatment plan.

I know that I can manually delete the procedures, but that can get laborious.

Thanks.

That would help us also. We always present two or three different treatment options. We need to flag the accepted one and hide the others.
