I see that they are read only right now. Is there a technical limitation that will never allow us to write back to OD or is that a feature that just hasn't quite made it yet? I've always had a great vision for what OD notes could be on a tablet using nested progress notes then dictation for any final adjustments.
Thanks,
Dylan
OD Touch Progress Notes
Re: OD Touch Progress Notes
Any insight on this from the OD team?
Re: OD Touch Progress Notes
Hey Dylan,
Currently, on the progress notes page users are able to edit the odontogram notes (the text box below the tooth chart. Press the pencil icon to access.), procedures, and appointments. At the moment we are working on providing support for most of the data objects that fill the progress notes grid, and will allow you to edit rows as you can in Open Dental, while leaning on some of the features of mobile platforms like speech to text systems, and hand writing recognition.
Best,
Sean

Thanks Sean. Sounds like it's technically possible to make it all work. Looking forward to it!
