Assignment of Benefit Check Box

We have been experiencing an issue with the Assignment of Benefits Check Box, the default is "accept assignment of benefits" and we have manually changed it to DO NOT accept for BCBS and DD however, on random occasions the box is registering as accept and the payment comes directly to us. We can't determine a pattern and presently you can only have one default for assignment of benefits. Any suggestions??? Gail

The Assignment of Benefits check box is subscriber specific, not plan specific. Every time you add an insurance plan to a patient (new subscriber) you must manipulate the assignment of benefits check box accordingly. You'll only need to change the check box when it is not supposed to be what you have indicated as your office default in Setup > Modules.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
