Update to 7.9.27 Scanner no longer works
I have an Epson GT-S50 scanner and an Epson 1680 Pro scanner.
All has worked well and as it should.
I recently updated to 7.9.27.
Now both scanners are not functioning as they should.
One can only make a single scan.
Upon attempting scan #2, an error message appears stating that the scanner (either one) is not connected.
Removing the scanners and software, with re installation does not correct the problem.
Each scanner is directly connected to the workstation.
When a non TWAIN Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 is used, scanning can be done.
Anybody have any suggestion or similar experience?
How can I fix this?

Hmm. I don't remember us changing anything at all for quite some time. It's not until version 11.1 that we made some changes to support document feeders and duplex scanning. We will try to duplicate.

I actually had a similar problem with my GTS50
Download the OLDER driver. It worked for me..when we figured it out we call OD and let them know, its an epson issue though IMO...

Hey, Sorry I've been MIA. is the one previous to the most recent one on epson's site. Any luck with this yet?
