Retriever Bridge w/ OD

Is there an unofficial bridge for Retriever Credit Card Processing Services? I know that officially only Payconnect and XServe are integrated but the people at Retriever claim they can be integrated with any Dental software suite incl. OpenDental. How is this possible?

Sounds like nothing but hype to me. They must really want that sale.
