1) Yes, I agree it keeps things simpler to just delete them, I wasn't completely sure if that is what you envisioned or not. Right now, it is just not easy to tell when one is completed. Like when you are ready to schedule a person's next appointment, it is hard to quickly see which one is next, #1 ...

Multiple Planned Appointments

I love being able to make multiple planned appointments! Now that we have been using it for a week or so, we have some suggestions for better efficiency... 1) Indicating when a planned appt status and when it has been completed like it used to. I suggest just implementing the same color preferences ...

Recall Film Setup

Working with the new recall setup I have a question: 1) Maybe this is already doable somehow, but when an FMX is taken, I think it needs to reset the BW recall due date as well as the FMX due date. For example: I had a pt this morning that we took an FMX on 4-22-08 this year. The FMX due date proper...

you can reset the actual date for tracking purposes. by not "locking the chart" like some programs, you do run the small risk of overwriting or duplicating as in the above situation. I was thinking you could add a menu item in the Help menu for "What's New" that opens the http://www.open-dent.com/manual/version6_1.html page. - that way regular staff members who don't go to the forums and website could still be aware of what is new when they get a new version of the program.
