Tablet Use

As threatened, I just installed a tablet for use in the office with Open Dental. Love it. here's the skinny: My ops would not really work well with two monitors. I have other issues with placing two monitors also. Privacy (what happens when the hygienist or asst leaves the previous chart on the scre...

Just tried the new version 7.2.4.0 - the flags are much better. Anyway the "ins waiting to send box can be bolded? The colored exclamation point really doesn't show well. A filled box would also work well.

Printing Schedule but no year

This morning we were compulsively scheduling out through 2011: I printed the schedule (from the scheduling module) and realized that the report could really use a heading with the year in nice bold type. Also, my front desk remarked about a month view. I know that at one point a month view had been ...

I use dropbox all the time for other programs, like word files and small backups - it's a great utility. However, my Open Dental database is about 70 Megabytes and the Images come to about 2 gigabytes at this time, so I think it would be inefficient at these capacities.

Re: Dental RAT foot controlled perio input

Hi Jeff- good news, the latest version of the RAT uses a wireless dongle (or wired if you like). It can easilybe moved between rooms. Yes, this was a meeting discount, but I have found that, "once a meeting discount, always a meeting discount" - you'd have to negotiate this with your supply house re...

Actually this is an interesting question - can an Excel spreadsheet be monkeyed around to generate an SQL query and place the result in the cells? That would be a good solution if it is possible.
