That might be a bug in the simple tooth chart. Or maybe it's supposed to work that way. That round thingy is the surfaces (O,M,D.B,L) But you should be using the DirectX (ideally) or OpenGL chart. I like this idea too.
I would give us plugin developers an area where we could not only address problems more efficiently, but also update OD users on new versions, features, troubleshooting and the like, while not annoying non-plugin users.

Then I hopped into my way back machine and went back to revision 15497, which was around November 1st. And the plugin loads then, so it seems something might have changed on your side between now and then.

Re: Upgrade to IE 11
IE 9 is supposed to be supported to 2017 but MicroSoft is reducing support for IE 9 and 10 due to their recent 'downsizing'.
So you might consider upgrading to the latest IE (11) to improve performance, speed and security, assuming you are running an OS that supports it.

Rx fills in wrong DPS with clinics
I have multiple providers with multiple clinics.
When I print prescriptions, everything is filled in properly except the state DPS number - that is always filled in with the DPS number for the first clinic I created. Is this a bug?
FYI, it's still present in 14.3.2

Forum login not working with FireFox
I can log in the the forum with IE and Chrome but not FireFox. I login OK, but when I try to go back to the forum index it shows that I'm logged out.
FireFox version is 18.0.1 64 bit Windows 7 Pro, if that matters.
Thanks.

Re: scaning barcodes
Are you planning to scan existing bar codes that a manufacturer has on an item? Then as bpcomp said you would just need a barcode scanner. Make sure it's USB. Symbol (oops, looks like they were acquired by Motorola http://www.motorola.com/Business/US-EN/Business+Product+and+Services/Bar+Code+Scannin...

You forgot to add bleach stains ruining office carpet, scrubs, etc. to that list.

Re: Database Maint Error
While you're waiting for the fix, in the meantime couldn't you: 1) ****Backup your OD database***** 2) Quit MySQL on the Linux server 3) Rename schedule.frm, schedule.MYI and schedule.MYD to Schedule.frm, Schedule.MYI and Schedule.MYD respectively 4) Restart MySQL, open OD and run DB Maintenance too...

Sub-contextual menu in chart progress notes for all statuses
I just added a feature request (#2580) which would add a sub-contextual menu that would allow us to set any of the procedure statuses after block selecting more than one procedure code in the Chart module progress notes section. Right now, you can block select, right-click and 'Set Complete', but if...

Re: Bluetooth network encryption
I think you'll be disappointed with Bluetooth network performance, as it's much slower than WiFi.
Also, the range even for a lower powered Bluetooth device can still be as much as 30 feet, so someone could still theoretically be parked outside your office and pick up a signal...

GPL v2 or v3?
Which version of the GPL is Open Dental distributed under - v2 or v3? Also, I'm trying to determine what our obligations are under the GPL regarding plugins. This paragraph (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLAndPlugins) seems to indicate that our plugins must be distributed under the GPL: ...

Re: Vixwin bridge
Have you mapped a network drive where the Vixwin images are stored? If so, what letter of the alphabet does that drive letter show (eg., O: , M: etc)? Does that drive letter show up under Drive for database image files dropdown in Vixwin under Options > Preferences > Database? Is Bridge selected in ...

Bernard- If one can operate a Denoptics unit in a Win7 environment, why does Gendex support, claim that it can't be done? I don't know. But it *is* possible, because I'm doing it 8). But I had to hack it all together myself, as there's no off the shelf solution. My guess is that they either don't kn...

Re: Vixwin bridge
That probably means you have one of the older SCSI Denoptix units (you're using a Denoptix to develop your xrays, right?). You can use that with Windows 7 (I am) depending on the SCSI card that's in your PC (usually an Adaptec 29320A is usually the only one that works), but you'd have to load some o...
